SWEET GOURMET WALK PLUS PERFUMES IN THE MARAIS

What makes this tour special

OVERVIEW :

We will first have a look at the Centre Pompidou and walk from the lively commercial rue Rambuteau, to access the heart of the of the World-famous Marais neighbourhood.

We will discover an emblematic part of Paris, tucked between ancient royal palaces and romantic squares, where medieval buildings sit alongside neoclassical, art-nouveau and modern structures. Our tour will take us through historical walkways and landmarks, like rue des Archives, rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie and rue Vieille du Temple, quaint corners of ancient Paris, from the traditional jewish neighborhood to the colourful gay quarter.

We will end our tour near the magnificent Place des Vosges where Victor Hugo stayed. Our tour will be the occasion to taste all sorts of delicacies from different luxury boutiques including two « Best Craftsmen of France » and the « World Pastry Champion ».

The tour includes the extraordinary discovery of five over the top perfumes shops in one of the trendiest streets of the Marais: the shop owners will tell you the story of their shops and their creations. You will meet for example Marta, ex guide at the Fenice in Venice, who will tell you about the oldest Italian parfumerie in Paris.

WHAT YOU’LL TASTE :

Portuguese flan called pasteis, a sophisticated marshmallow, a cream puff, a macaroon, all sorts of chocolates, the best ice creams in Paris, the best croissant in Paris with a beverage, coffee or latte or soft drink.
